Oxify vs UpCart
A cart drawer against a cart drawer that also sells before and after the cart
The short answer
Oxify starts at $9.99/mo against UpCart's $29.99/mo and sells on the product page and after checkout as well as inside the cart. UpCart is the more established app — 840+ reviews to Oxify's 35+ — and it works inside the cart drawer only, because that is what it is built to be.

Where a vendor’s own site and its App Store listing disagree, price follows the App Store — that is what Shopify bills — and features follow whichever source documents them, with the caveat named in the row.
Where UpCart fits
UpCart — full name Upcart—Cart Drawer Cart Upsell — replaces the Shopify cart with a slide-out drawer carrying announcements, rewards, add-ons and recommendations. It has been on the App Store since July 2021 and holds 4.7 stars across 840+ reviews.
It is owned by Rokt, through Beam Commerce Inc., which also owns AfterSell — and Rokt has begun marketing it as “Rokt Upcart” on aftersell.com. That is the single most useful fact for anyone comparing the two: UpCart sells you the cart, AfterSell sells you the post-purchase page, and they are billed separately. UpCart's $29.99 entry plan plus AfterSell's $34.99 entry plan is $64.98/mo for the coverage Oxify bills as one $9.99 plan at the same order volume.
Two corrections worth making against the round-ups that circulate about UpCart: it does carry buy-more-save-more volume pricing, which its listing names under Upsells, and Rokt's own product page describes gift wrapping as an in-drawer add-on. Neither is a gap. Where UpCart is genuinely ahead is track record — 840+ reviews against 35+ is not a rounding difference.
Oxify vs UpCart pricing
Both columns are the vendor's own published prices. Where a ladder is not published in full, the table says so rather than guessing.
| Monthly store orders | Oxify | UpCart |
|---|---|---|
| 0 – 100 | $9.99 | $29.99 |
| 101 – 200 | $19.99 | $29.99 |
| 201 – 500 | $29.99 | $34.99 |
| 501 – 1,000 | $49.99 | $54.99 |
| Above 1,000 | $79.99 – $149.99 | Not published on the listing |
UpCart's listing publishes three paid tiers and stops at 1,000 orders; the ladder continues in-app. Both apps bill on total monthly store orders, not on upsell revenue.

Where UpCart is the better choice
No app wins every row. These are the reasons to pick UpCart over Oxify.
Twenty-four times the review history
840+ reviews against 35+. If your buying rule is that an app must have survived thousands of stores before you install it, UpCart clears that bar and Oxify does not yet.
JSX-level control of the drawer layout
UpCart exposes HTML, CSS and JSX for the cart design. If you have a developer and an exact drawer in mind, that is a lower ceiling than any settings panel.
Express payment buttons in the drawer
Rokt's product page describes express payment methods rendered inside the drawer to cut checkout friction. Oxify's listing does not name that placement.
Rokt Thanks, if you want the ad revenue
Being inside Rokt's network means you can plug into monetised post-purchase placements through AfterSell. Oxify has no equivalent — it sells your products, not someone else's.
Which one should you pick?
Five scenarios, and the app that wins each one.
| If this is you | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You want one app to cover product page, cart and post-purchase | Oxify | UpCart covers the cart; the other two surfaces need AfterSell on top. |
| You are under 200 orders a month and price-sensitive | Oxify | $9.99 against $29.99, with no free live-store plan on UpCart. |
| You buy only apps with thousands of reviews | UpCart | 840+ reviews and four years of history against 35+. |
| You want the drawer built to a designer's spec, in code | UpCart | UpCart's JSX layer goes deeper than settings-based customisation. |
| You need BOGO or subscription upgrades in the cart | Oxify | Neither appears on UpCart's listing. Volume pricing, note, it does have. |
Oxify vs UpCart — common questions
Is Oxify cheaper than UpCart?
Yes at every published tier. Oxify starts at $9.99/mo against UpCart's $29.99/mo, and is cheaper at 201–500 orders ($29.99 vs $34.99) and 501–1,000 orders ($49.99 vs $54.99). Neither app has a free plan for live stores.
Does UpCart do post-purchase upsells?
No. UpCart works inside the cart drawer. Post-purchase offers come from AfterSell, a separate app from the same owner, Rokt, billed separately from $34.99/mo. Oxify includes post-purchase and thank-you page offers in its base plan.
Does UpCart do volume discounts?
Yes. Its listing names buy-more-save-more under the Upsells module. Some comparison round-ups say otherwise; they are out of date. What UpCart does not have on its listing is BOGO or subscription upgrades.
Are UpCart and AfterSell the same company?
Yes. Both list Rokt (Beam Commerce Inc.) as the developer on the Shopify App Store, following Rokt's acquisition of AfterSell in January 2024, and Rokt now markets the cart drawer as Rokt Upcart on aftersell.com.
Which has better reviews, Oxify or UpCart?
Oxify holds a higher score — 5.0 against 4.7 — on far fewer reviews, 35+ against 840+. Both carry the Built for Shopify badge.
