12 Best Shopify Quantity Breaks Apps, Compared by Real Monthly Cost (October 2026)
Updated · 29 min read· Aditya Singh
The short answer: The best Shopify quantity breaks app for most stores is Oxify Quantity Breaks & BYOB (our app; 4.9★ from 13 reviews): quantity breaks, BOGO, free gifts and a Build-Your-Own-Box builder on one flat $14.99/month plan. Kaching Bundles is the most-reviewed pick (5.0★, 6,264 reviews), Bundler has the best free plan, and Pareto suits B2B and wholesale price breaks.
Oxify Quantity Breaks carries the Built for Shopify badge, but its 13 reviews are a fraction of the veterans' totals. Kaching's price rises with the extra revenue it generates; Bundler's free plan includes volume discounts with no revenue or order cap. The same tools are also sold as Shopify volume discount, tiered pricing and quantity discount apps. Every figure was checked on the live Shopify App Store on October 11, 2026.
Key Facts (Checked October 11, 2026)
All 12 ratings, review counts, prices and Built for Shopify badges below were read from each app's live Shopify App Store listing on October 11, 2026.
6 of the 12 apps price by the extra revenue they generate (Kaching, Pumper, Pareto, Rapid Bundles, Zoorix) or by bundle sales (Fast Bundle), so a good month raises your bill. Oxify, Bundler, Awesome Quantity Breaks and OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit charge flat fees; Bulk Discounts Now prices by your Shopify plan; Discounty prices by variants and campaigns.
At $5,000/month of app-driven sales, the monthly bill ranges from $0 (Bundler free plan) to $139.99 (Zoorix, per its own pricing table), with Fast Bundle's 10K plan close behind at $139.
OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit is installable again (4.9★ from 465 reviews) after its listing was unavailable in September, so it returns at #12.
Bold's Custom Pricing: Wholesale B2B is not currently installable: on October 11, 2026 its listing reads "This app is not currently available on the Shopify App Store," so it left the ranking.
Corrections in this edition: Zoorix's paid plans are banded by the revenue the app generates (we previously called them flat), and Pareto is now listed as P: Quantity Breaks & Bundles with a 30-day free trial.
Shopify allows at most 25 active automatic discounts per store, including app-created ones (Shopify Help Center).

Why This Comparison Is Different
This guide solves one problem: a default Shopify product page sells one unit at a time, with no "buy 2, save 10%" prompt and no price table beside the add-to-cart button. A quantity break puts the multi-unit price in front of the shopper before they choose how many to buy.
This page compares 12 quantity breaks apps: the product-page "Buy 1 / Buy 2, save 10% / Buy 3, save 15%" offer blocks that DTC stores use. Every price, rating, review count and Built for Shopify badge below was re-checked against the live Shopify App Store listing on October 11, 2026 (the first edition was verified in May 2026 and the last update on September 23, 2026; this update corrects what changed since). Where an app's price scales with your revenue, a detail most "best of" lists hide, we say so and show what it costs at $5,000 and $10,000 a month. Where an app has a real weakness, we name it.
Looking for something adjacent? For wholesale tiers, bulk pricing and discount-ladder tools that do not lead with a product-page widget, see our best Shopify volume discount apps guide. To show the next quantity break inside the slide cart rather than on the product page, see quantity breaks in the Shopify cart drawer.
Full transparency: this guide is published by the Oxify team. We rank our own app #1 because its flat price and feature spread fit the most stores, but it has only 13 reviews against thousands for the veterans below, and we tell you exactly when to choose one of them instead.
What Is a Quantity Break?
A quantity break is a discount that activates when a shopper buys more units of a product. Buy 1 at full price. Buy 3, save 10%. Buy 5, save 20%. It is also called a volume discount, a quantity price break or tiered pricing — same idea: the more they buy, the lower the price per unit. A quantity breaks app is a Shopify app that creates those tiers and shows them as a "Buy 1 / Buy 2 / Buy 3" block on the product page.
A quantity break is shown as a small pricing table directly on the product page, so the shopper sees the deal before they decide how many to add.
Why quantity breaks work:
They aim to lift average order value (AOV) — shoppers add units to "unlock" the better price.
They feel fair, not pushy — the customer chooses to save.
They move overstock: put the deepest tier on the product you have too much of.
They need no new traffic — the offer works on visitors already on the product page — but the app bill is not zero: from $0 to $139.99 a month at $5,000 of app-driven sales in the table below.
How much a quantity break lifts AOV depends on your product, price point and tier depth, and there is no trustworthy cross-store benchmark. Earlier versions of this page quoted industry percentages we could not trace to a primary source, so we removed them. Measure your own units per order and AOV for two weeks before and after.
Most guides skip this — but choosing the wrong model costs you margin:
Volume bracket pricing — a whole quantity range gets one fixed per-unit price. Example: 10–20 units = $3 each; 21+ units = $2.50 each. Clean per-unit math, popular for wholesale.
Incremental (tiered) pricing — each tier applies a bigger percentage off the order total. Example: buy 3 = 10% off; buy 5 = 20% off. Easy to show as a "buy more, save more" table.
Most DTC stores use incremental percentage tiers. B2B and wholesale sellers often prefer bracket pricing. Every app below supports tiered pricing; only some handle true bracket pricing well (noted per app).
Can Shopify Do Quantity Breaks Without an App?
Partly — and the gaps are exactly why apps exist:
Automatic discounts can do "buy 3+, get 10% off" (Discounts → Amount off products → Minimum quantity of items). But Shopify caps you at 25 active automatic discounts per store, app discounts included. Sell 10 products with 3 tiers each? That is 30 rules, over the limit already. Discounts can combine across the product, order and shipping classes when set as combinable, but off Shopify Plus only one product discount applies per cart line.
No product-page table. Native discounts only show once they are applied in the cart or at checkout. If a shopper never sees the tiers, they have no prompt to buy more. This is the main gap native discounts leave.
Native volume pricing exists inside Shopify's B2B price catalogs, but it only applies to B2B company customers, not your retail shoppers.
Shopify Functions give developers full control. Public apps built on Functions work on any plan, but a custom app with your own Functions requires Shopify Plus. Overkill for most stores.
Bottom line: native tools work for one or two products and fall apart at scale. A dedicated app gives you the on-page pricing table, unlimited tiers, and analytics that actually move AOV.
How We Ranked the Apps
Every app was scored on the same six criteria:
Verified pricing — confirmed on the live listing, including whether the price scales with revenue.
Product-page display — does it show tiers where buyers decide?
Built for Shopify badge — Shopify's certification for speed, design, and integration.
Ratings & reviews — current App Store numbers.
Setup ease — can a non-coder launch it in one sitting?
Understand this pricing model first
Many quantity break apps use revenue-tiered pricing: your monthly fee rises as the app generates more sales (e.g. a plan covers "up to $5,000 of extra revenue," then bumps to the next band). This keeps the entry price low for small stores, but a great month raises your bill. A few apps (like Bundler and Oxify) charge a truly flat fee with no revenue cap. Neither is "right" — just know which you are signing up for. We label every app below.
The 12 Best Shopify Quantity Breaks Apps (October 2026)
1. Oxify Quantity Breaks & BYOB — Best Overall
Best for: merchants who want one app — not four — for quantity breaks, bundles, BOGO, and gifts. Rating: 4.9 ★ (13 reviews) · Pricing: $14.99/mo flat, or $129.99/yr (14-day free trial) · Built for Shopify: Yes · Avoid if: you want a long review history before installing, or a permanently free plan · View on the Shopify App Store
Oxify Quantity Breaks & BYOB is our top pick because it does the job of three or four apps in one — and carries Shopify's Built for Shopify badge for performance and design quality.
You get tiered quantity breaks and volume discounts, BOGO and Buy X Get Y, free gifts that auto-add to cart, fixed-price bundles, mix-and-match sets, and a gamified Build Your Own Box builder. Discounts auto-apply at checkout — no codes. Scheduling, exclusions, A/B testing, and a revenue analytics dashboard are all included on the one plan.
What makes it the best choice: breadth at one flat price. Most stores end up paying for a quantity breaks app plus a separate BOGO app plus a gift app. Oxify folds all of it into one dashboard, so your real per-feature cost is lower than the alternatives. The widgets are theme-friendly, so the pricing table blends into the product page instead of looking bolted on. And because it pairs with Oxify Cart Drawer & Upsells on a shared codebase, the product page and cart never conflict — a common headache when you stitch together apps from different developers.
Pricing: one plan, Awesome, at $14.99/month or $129.99/year (save 28%). Every feature is included, with no order or bundle caps and no revenue-based tiers. 14-day free trial. The listing is available in 17 languages.
Pros:
Quantity breaks, BOGO, free gifts, and Build-a-Box in one app
Built for Shopify badge — certified speed and design
Auto-applied discounts, no coupon codes
A/B testing and revenue analytics included on the one plan
Pairs cleanly with Oxify Cart Drawer & Upsells for a full funnel
Cons:
Newer app, so a far smaller review base (13) than veteran tools
No free plan — 14-day free trial, then $14.99/mo
2. Kaching Bundles — Best for a Proven Track Record
Best for: merchants who want the safety of an app thousands of stores already trust. Rating: 5.0 ★ (6,264 reviews) · Pricing: Free for development stores; paid from $14.99/mo (7-day trial) · Built for Shopify: Yes · Avoid if: you want a bill that stays fixed as app-driven revenue grows · View on the Shopify App Store
Kaching Bundles (listed as "Kaching Bundles App & Upsells", and often searched as "Kaching Bundle Quantity Breaks") is one of the most-reviewed bundle apps on Shopify, with a near-perfect rating across thousands of reviews. It handles quantity breaks, BOGO, Buy X Get Y, and volume discounts, with a clean builder, strong theme integration, and A/B testing plus analytics on the dashboard.
Pricing tiers (revenue-based): Free for development stores · Starter $14.99 (up to $1,000 extra revenue) · Scale $29.99 (up to $5,000) · Pro $59.99 (up to $10,000). 7-day free trial on paid plans; roughly 25–27% off if billed yearly. Weighing a switch? Our Kaching Bundles alternatives guide compares the options side by side.
Pros:
Massive, well-established review base
Built-in A/B testing and revenue tracking
Live chat support, widely praised in reviews
Cons:
Revenue caps are low — a busy store hits the next price band fast
Setup can feel complex for first-timers
3. Bundler — Best Flat-Fee Pricing
Best for: scaling stores that want predictable costs and a strong free tier. Rating: 4.9 ★ (2,722 reviews) · Pricing: Free plan; Premium $9.99 and Executive $19.99/mo (7-day trial) · Built for Shopify: Yes · Avoid if: you need deep widget styling or built-in A/B testing · View on the Shopify App Store
Bundler is the rare app with truly flat pricing — no revenue cap. Its free plan already covers volume discounts and quantity breaks, Buy X Get Y, product page upsells, Shopify POS and auto-applied discounts with unlimited revenue and orders, which makes it the best free quantity breaks app on this list. Premium ($9.99) adds Mix & Match, quantity break combinations and custom landing pages; Executive ($19.99) adds the bundle analytics dashboard.
Pros:
Flat fee — your bill never rises with sales
Genuinely useful free plan
Huge review base, very budget-friendly
Cons:
Widget customization is limited
One merchant review flagged trouble with very high variant counts (80+ variants)
Fewer advanced bundle types than top picks
4. Fast Bundle — Best for Bundle Variety
Best for: stores that want quantity breaks and a deep bundle toolkit. Rating: 5.0 ★ (3,538 reviews) · Pricing: Free for development stores; $19 / $49 / $139 per month by monthly bundle sales (7-day trial) · Built for Shopify: No · Avoid if: you only need a simple Buy 1 / Buy 2 / Buy 3 block on a tight budget · View on the Shopify App Store
Fast Bundle supports the widest spread of bundle types — fixed bundles, mix and match, volume discounts, cross-sell offers, and AI-powered frequently-bought-together recommendations. It also supports subscription bundles and a "bundle-as-product" feature that gives a combo its own product page.
Pros:
Most bundle types of any app on this list
AI frequently-bought-together recommendations
Subscription bundle support
Cons:
More features means a steeper learning curve
Overkill if you only need simple tiers
Expensive at scale: the $49 plan caps at $3,000 of monthly bundle sales, so $5,000 a month means the $139 plan
No Built for Shopify badge (our May edition wrongly said it had one)
5. P: Quantity Breaks & Bundles (Pareto) — Best for B2B & Wholesale
Best for: wholesale sellers and stores with tagged customer pricing. Rating: 4.9 ★ (263 reviews) · Pricing: Free plan (1 offer, $300 extra revenue); Basic $14.99 (to $2,000), Professional $29.99 (to $5,000), Advanced $59.99/mo (to $10,000) by extra revenue (30-day trial) · Built for Shopify: Yes · Avoid if: you run a simple DTC store and only want one "buy more, save more" block · View on the Shopify App Store
Pareto (listed today as "P: Quantity Breaks & Bundles", previously "P: Quantity Breaks & BOGO") is built for enterprise and wholesale. It sets volume discounts by variant, customer tag or market, supports discount stacking, CSV import, Shopify Flow automation and 1-click post-purchase offers, and works with Shopify native discounts, POS and B2B wholesale pricing. Built-in analytics and A/B testing are included.
Pros:
Tag-based and market-specific pricing for B2B
Shopify POS and Shopify Flow integration
Genuine free plan to test one offer
Cons:
More than most DTC stores need
B2B focus makes simple use cases feel heavy
The price climbs with extra revenue, and the free plan allows just one active offer
6. Pumper Bundles Quantity Breaks — Best Free Starter
Best for: new stores trying quantity breaks for the first time. Rating: 4.9 ★ (3,551 reviews) · Pricing: Free up to $300 generated revenue; Starter $9.99 (to $1,000), Growth $29.99 (to $5,000), Unlimited $49.99/mo (7-day trial) · Built for Shopify: Yes · Avoid if: you need many bundle types or customer-tag (B2B) pricing · View on the Shopify App Store
Pumper is built for fast, no-fuss setup of quantity breaks, free gifts, and BOGO. It applies discounts by unit, percentage, or flat amount, with fully customizable layouts and cart drawer integrations. It stays free until it generates your first $300, so testing it costs nothing, and the $49.99 Unlimited plan removes the revenue cap, which makes it cheaper than Kaching once an offer drives more than $5,000 a month.
Pros:
Free to test — no cost until it earns you money
Modern, clean widget design
Beginner-friendly, fast setup
Cons:
Revenue-based bands: Growth tops out at $5,000 of extra revenue
Limited bundle types compared with Fast Bundle or Kaching
7. Rapid Bundles & Upsell (formerly Rapi Bundles) — Best for Visual Progress Nudges
Best for: stores that want a visual nudge toward bigger carts. Rating: 5.0 ★ (1,587 reviews) · Pricing: Free plan (up to $100/mo revenue); Starter $15 (to $1,000), Pro $29 (to $10,000), Elite $59/mo unlimited (7-day trial) · Built for Shopify: Yes · Avoid if: you need B2B, customer-tag or wholesale price rules · View on the Shopify App Store
Rapi has renamed its listing "Rapid Bundles & Upsell app"; the handle and reviews carried over. Its Pro plan covers up to $10,000 of extra revenue for $29, the cheapest revenue-banded plan at that scale on this list. It pairs quantity breaks with progress bars and upsells, nudging shoppers toward the next tier with visual "you're almost there" cues. Reviewers consistently praise its beginner-friendly interface and fast support. It also offers A/B testing, color-swatch bundles, and a newer post-purchase upsell feature.
Pros:
Progress bars that push shoppers to the next tier
Easy for non-technical users
Strong, recent review base
Cons:
Fewer enterprise/B2B features
No customer-built bundle option
8. Zoorix: Bundles & Cross Sell — Best for Cart-Drawer Upselling
Best for: stores that want tiered pricing bundled with cart upsells. Rating: 4.9 ★ (388 reviews) · Pricing: Forever Free (all features, with app branding); Basic $7.99 ($100–$200), Growth $14.99 ($200–$400), Premium $29.99/mo ($400–$800) by revenue generated through Zoorix (30-day trial) · Built for Shopify: No · Avoid if: your offers will drive thousands a month in extra revenue, because the bands keep climbing · View on the Shopify App Store
Zoorix combines quantity breaks with a built-in upsell cart drawer, AI product recommendations, BOGO, mix-and-match bundles, and frequently-bought-together offers — a wide toolkit beyond just tiered pricing.
Pricing (revenue-based): the App Store listing shows bands only up to $800 of Zoorix-generated revenue. Zoorix's own pricing table says the app is free under $100 of additional revenue, then continues to $59.99 ($800–$1,800), $89.99 ($1,800–$3,000), $139.99 ($3,000–$5,000) and $179.99 ($5,000–$10,000) a month.
Pros:
Quantity breaks plus a built-in upsell cart drawer
AI-based product recommendations
Free plan to start
Cons:
Lots of features can feel cluttered
Quantity breaks are one piece of a bigger suite
No Built for Shopify badge; the free plan shows Zoorix branding
The most expensive app here at $5,000 a month of app-driven revenue ($139.99)
9. Bulk Discounts Now (WOD) — Best for Simple Bulk Pricing
Best for: stores that only need straightforward bulk discounts. Rating: 4.6 ★ (199 reviews) · Pricing: Free Starter (1 discount group); $9.95 / $19.95 / $29.95/mo matched to your Shopify plan, $49.95 on Plus (14-day trial) · Built for Shopify: No · Avoid if: you want bundles, BOGO, free gifts or a modern widget design · View on the Shopify App Store
A focused, no-frills option for offering bulk discounts and tiered pricing. It does the core job — quantity-based price drops — without the complexity of a full bundle suite.
Pros:
Simple, focused on bulk/tiered pricing
Free plan available; paid plans are flat, not revenue-based
Works with AJAX carts and Shopify's native currency converter
Cons:
Light on bundles, BOGO, and gift logic
Interface feels more functional than modern
10. Discounty: Bulk Discount Sales — Best for Quantity Breaks Plus Every Other Discount Type
Best for: stores that want tiered quantity discounts and five other discount types managed from one app, instead of stacking separate tools. Rating: 4.9 ★ (1,269 reviews) · Pricing: Free Starter (10 variants, 3 campaigns); Lite $9.90, Essential $29.90, Discounty $49.90/mo by variants and campaigns (3-day trial) · Built for Shopify: Yes · Avoid if: you need fixed bundles with their own product pages · View on the Shopify App Store
Discounty runs quantity and volume discounts with a tier table that renders on the product page, so shoppers see the savings at each tier before checkout. What sets it apart is breadth: the same app also covers bulk price editing, BXGY, shipping discounts, and advanced discount codes, so a store can run quantity breaks alongside other campaigns without adding a second app. Pricing is capacity-based on variants and campaigns rather than a cut of revenue, so the bill tracks store size, not sales volume.
Pros:
Quantity breaks plus five other campaign types in one app
Tier table renders on the product page
Capacity-based pricing (not revenue-share), from $9.90/mo
Compare-at price editing, useful for reference-price display
Cons:
Not a dedicated bundle builder (no fixed-bundle product pages)
Broader than a single-purpose quantity app, so there is a little more to explore at setup
11. Awesome Quantity Breaks — Best Simple Flat-Fee Widget
Best for: stores that want a clean product-page quantity break block and nothing else to learn. Rating: 4.9 ★ (20 reviews) · Pricing: Pro $19.99/mo flat (14-day trial); free on development stores only · Built for Shopify: No · Avoid if: you want a free plan for a live store or a large review base · View on the Shopify App Store
Awesome Quantity Breaks by AwesomeApps does one job: volume discounts and quantity breaks on the product page, with more than ten pre-built layouts, BOGO, simple cross-sell bundles and A/B testing on its single Pro plan. It lists compatibility with page builders and cart apps such as GemPages, PageFly and UpCart. (Not to be confused with "Awesome", the name of Oxify's single plan.)
Pros:
One flat price with unlimited discounted products
Many ready-made layouts plus A/B testing
Stated compatibility with popular page builders and cart drawers
Cons:
Small review base (20)
No free plan for live stores and no Built for Shopify badge
12. OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit — Best for Quantity Breaks Plus Order Limits
Best for: stores that need tiered discounts and minimum/maximum purchase limits in one app. Rating: 4.9 ★ (465 reviews) · Pricing: Free plan (quantity breaks, purchase limits on up to 3 products and on collections); Advanced $7.99, Premium $19.99/mo flat (7-day trial) · Built for Shopify: No · Avoid if: you want a polished bundle builder or the Built for Shopify badge · View on the Shopify App Store
OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit by ORICHI (it calls itself "OC Quantity Breaks & Limits" in its description; on the App Store since 2019) combines volume discounts with purchase rules. It sets minimum and maximum quantities by product, variant, collection or customer tag, adds wholesale pricing for customer groups, and also covers BOGO, bundle discounts, free gifts and cart-page upsells. The listing says it is built on Shopify Functions and works with Shopify POS. Its listing was unavailable when we checked on September 23, 2026, and was installable again on October 11, 2026.
Pros:
Quantity breaks and min/max order limits in one app
Customer-group wholesale pricing and customer-tag limit rules
Free plan, and the cheapest paid entry here ($7.99, tied with Zoorix Basic)
Cons:
No Built for Shopify badge
The listing was unavailable when we checked on September 23, 2026, so confirm it is live before you build around it
Dashboard and reports only on the $19.99 Premium plan
What happened to Bold Custom Pricing: Wholesale B2B?
Our September edition ranked Bold's Custom Pricing: Wholesale B2B at #12. It is the app people still search for as "Bold Custom Pricing Wholesale & Quantity Breaks", because Bold folded its old standalone Quantity Breaks app into it to set prices and quantity break grids per customer group. On October 11, 2026 its App Store listing reads "This app is not currently available on the Shopify App Store," so new stores cannot install it and we removed it from the ranking. For customer-group price breaks today, look at Pareto (customer tags and markets) or OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit (customer-group wholesale pricing). Listings do come back, as OC's did, so check the page before ruling it out.

All figures from the live Shopify App Store listings, checked October 11, 2026, except Zoorix's bands above $800, which come from the pricing table on zoorix.com. "App sales" means the extra revenue (or, for Fast Bundle, bundle sales) the app attributes to itself, which is the number revenue-banded plans are billed on. Ranges mean the price depends on something other than revenue (your Shopify plan, variant count or which features you need). Prices change often: confirm on the listing before you install.

How to Create Quantity Breaks on Shopify (and Set Tiers That Convert)
With most apps on this list, creating a quantity break takes five steps:
Install the app from its Shopify App Store listing and approve its permissions.
Turn on its theme block in Online Store → Themes → Customize, so the tier table can appear on the product page.
Create an offer and choose the products, variants or collections it applies to.
Add the tiers (for example Buy 2 save 10%, Buy 3 save 15%) and pick the layout, labels and default tier.
Preview, publish, then test a real cart to confirm the discount applies at checkout and combines the way you expect with your other discounts. If your theme has a sticky add-to-cart bar, test that too: the bar has to add the tier the shopper picked. Our sticky add-to-cart guide covers the options.
Prefer no app? Shopify's native automatic discounts can do a basic version, with the limits covered in the "without an app" section above. Creating the offer is step one. Setting up tiers that sell is step two. Use this framework:
Start with 3 tiers. Three is the usual starting point — e.g. buy 1 / buy 2 (save 10%) / buy 3 (save 20%). We have no trustworthy cross-store benchmark showing it is optimal, so treat it as your control and test a longer or shorter ladder against it.
Pre-select the middle tier. The pre-selected tier is the one every shopper sees first, so default to the quantity you want to become typical, then check the analytics.
Badge the top tier. A "Best value" or "Most popular" label makes the biggest pack feel like the smart choice, not the expensive one.
Show savings in dollars. "Save $12" tells the shopper what they keep; "Save 15%" makes them do the math. If your app has A/B testing, try both labels.
Check your free-shipping line. If a tier's total crosses your free-shipping threshold, one extra unit earns the shopper two rewards.
Display tiers on the product page. This is the whole point. If the offer only appears at checkout, most shoppers never see it.
Protect your margin. Before publishing, confirm even your deepest discount tier stays above your break-even cost per unit. Our product bundle pricing strategy guide walks through the math.
Start with bestsellers. Add quantity breaks to your top 5 products first — they already convert, so you are just enlarging the cart.
Review analytics after two weeks. See which tier wins most. If nobody picks tier 3, your discount jump is too small — adjust and retest.
Skip the feature overwhelm — match the app to your situation:
New store, want to test for free? → Pumper Bundles or Bundler's free plan.
Want one app for everything (breaks + BOGO + gifts + boxes)? → Oxify Quantity Breaks & BYOB.
Want the most-trusted, most-reviewed option? → Kaching Bundles.
Scaling fast and want a predictable bill? → Bundler (flat fee, no revenue cap).
Selling B2B or wholesale? → Pareto (tag-based and market pricing).
Need quantity breaks per customer group, or min/max order limits? → OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit (or Pareto for customer tags and markets).
Running many promo types and priced by catalog size, not revenue? → Discounty.
The most common mistake: choosing on sticker price alone. A cheap-looking app that needs three add-on apps for BOGO, gifts, and a timer costs far more than one app that does it all. Compare total cost, not the entry plan. Oxify's single $14.99/mo plan includes every feature, so there are no add-ons to price in.

What is the best Shopify quantity breaks app in 2026?
For most stores, Oxify Quantity Breaks & BYOB (our app): it combines quantity breaks, BOGO, free gifts and a Build-a-Box builder in one Built for Shopify app on one flat $14.99/month plan, though it has only 13 reviews. Kaching Bundles (5.0★, 6,264 reviews as of October 11, 2026) is best if you want the largest review base, Bundler if you want a free plan with no revenue cap, and Pareto for B2B tiers.
How do I create quantity breaks on Shopify?
Install a quantity breaks app, turn on its block in Online Store → Themes → Customize, create an offer for the products or collections you choose, add tiers such as Buy 2 save 10% and Buy 3 save 15%, then preview and test a real cart. Without an app, build the ladder from automatic "Amount off products" discounts with a minimum quantity per tier, but Shopify caps a store at 25 active automatic discounts and shows no tier table on the product page.
How many discount tiers should I offer?
Three is the usual starting point: full price, a "hero" tier one step above what people already buy, and a deeper tier for fans. Pre-select the middle tier, show the saving in dollars, and test from there. We go deeper in how many quantity break tiers.
Are free quantity breaks apps good enough?
For small and new stores, often yes. Bundler's free plan covers volume discounts with no revenue cap. Pumper and Pareto are free up to $300 of app-driven revenue, Rapid Bundles and Zoorix up to $100, and OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit has a free plan with purchase limits on up to 3 products. Once you need BOGO, gifts, A/B testing and analytics at scale, a paid plan becomes worth it.
Will a quantity breaks app slow my Shopify store down?
A well-built one should not. Look for the Built for Shopify badge: to keep it, an app may not lower your storefront Lighthouse score by more than 10 points. Seven of the 12 apps here carry it as of October 11, 2026 (Oxify, Kaching, Bundler, Pareto, Pumper, Rapid Bundles, Discounty).
Is Oxify Quantity Breaks free?
No. Oxify Quantity Breaks & BYOB has one paid plan, $14.99/month (or $129.99/year, saving 28%), with every feature included and a 14-day free trial. There is no permanently free plan, but the trial lets you test everything — quantity breaks, BOGO, gifts, and the Build-a-Box builder — before paying.
What is the best alternative to Kaching Bundles?
It depends on why you are leaving. For a bill that does not rise with revenue, Oxify Quantity Breaks & BYOB (our app, flat $14.99/month) or Bundler (free plan, paid from $9.99) are the closest swaps. For a free start, Pumper Bundles Quantity Breaks is free up to $300 of app-driven revenue. Our Kaching Bundles alternatives guide compares them in detail.
What is the cheapest quantity breaks app?
Bundler is free with no revenue cap, and Zoorix, Pumper, Pareto, Rapid Bundles, Discounty, Bulk Discounts Now and OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit have capped free plans. The cheapest paid plans are Zoorix Basic and OC Advanced at $7.99, Discounty Lite at $9.90, Bulk Discounts Now at $9.95, and Pumper Starter and Bundler Premium at $9.99. Among all-in-one apps, Oxify Quantity Breaks & BYOB is a flat $14.99/month with no revenue-based tiers.
Is Kaching Bundles free?
Only on Shopify development stores. For a live store Kaching Bundles starts at $14.99/month (Starter, up to $1,000 of extra revenue), then $29.99 (up to $5,000) and $59.99 (up to $10,000), each with a 7-day free trial. Checked October 11, 2026.
Which app shows "save 10% when you buy 3" messaging on the product page?
Any of the product-page apps here: Oxify Quantity Breaks & BYOB, Kaching, Bundler, Pumper, Rapid Bundles and Awesome Quantity Breaks all render a Buy 1 / Buy 2 / Buy 3 block with the saving shown per tier. For a coffee or consumables store, pick one with a flat price (Oxify, Bundler) if repeat orders will push app-attributed revenue up quickly. To repeat the message in the cart, see quantity breaks in the Shopify cart drawer.
What is the best Shopify app for complex quantity-based pricing rules?
For rules that vary by customer tag, market or variant, use P: Quantity Breaks & Bundles (Pareto); for customer-group wholesale pricing plus min/max order limits, use OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit. Bold's Custom Pricing: Wholesale B2B is not currently installable (checked October 11, 2026). For many overlapping campaigns across a large catalog, Discounty prices by variants and campaigns. Our best Shopify volume discount apps guide covers more wholesale tools.
Is OC Quantity Breaks & Order Limit still available?
Yes, again. Its listing was unavailable when we checked on September 23, 2026, but on October 11, 2026 OC Quantity Breaks Order Limit by ORICHI was installable, with a 4.9★ rating from 465 reviews, a free plan, and paid plans at $7.99 and $19.99 a month. It combines quantity breaks with min/max order limits by product, variant, collection or customer tag.
The Bottom Line
Quantity breaks are a low-effort way to grow order value. You are not buying ads or chasing new traffic — you are offering more to shoppers already on your product page.
For most stores, Oxify Quantity Breaks & BYOB is the best choice: quantity breaks, BOGO, free gifts, and a Build-a-Box builder in one Built for Shopify app on one flat $14.99/month plan — so you replace three or four tools with one, on a single dashboard with no app conflicts.
Your next step: install one app from this list, add three tiers to your top five products, and check your AOV in two weeks. That is the whole experiment, and your own AOV numbers will show whether it paid for itself.
